1787: We the People Tech Week Schedule

Saturday June 25 –

No morning rehearsal.

3-5PM Sitzprobe – all cast call with orchestra to go through music only (no blocking).

Location: to be determined (hopefully on campus).

Sunday June 26 – LOAD IN DAY AT THE VIRGINIA THEATRE & REHEARSAL

Loadin coordinators: Wendy G. (SM), Chris & Marv (and Jeff the theatre liaison)

9 AM – back doors open at the theatre. Andy and Kris will load lights with union help (fly and 3 deckhands) and three 1787 people. Costume, hair and make up people have access to dressing rooms.

10 AM (or so) – IGA Building – Chris & Marv coordinate loading the set into the truck and trailer. Need 6-8 cast members to help.

11 AM – All cast call. Set arrives at theatre. Finish loading all drops (painted drop and tavern scene). Start building set, stage edge build-up, set up sound, etc.

Hair/Wig styling…see Jeff Chandler.

4 PM – finished?! Lights focused?? (union help excused)

4:30 PM – Dry Tech run by Wendy with cast members/set crew. Done by 5:30pm.

6 PM – All cast call for rehearsal with keyboard (no costumes, hair or make up). 2-3 Media guests in audience. Aaron brings pit paraphernalia from WSS.

Monday June 27 -

9 AM – LDs enter cue to cue for lights on board. (LBO call)

5 PM – Cast – wardrobe, (make up?) call (4PM sound union call)

6 PM – microphone check

7 PM – Begin rehearsal (run through the whole show)-530/630 union call (fly, 2 board ops)

11 PM – out of the building.

Tuesday June 28 – Media night

5 PM – Cast – wardrobe, hair, make up call

6 PM – microphone check

6:30 PM cast photo

7 PM – Begin rehearsal (run through the whole show)-530/630 union call (fly, 2 board ops)

11 PM – out of the building.

Wednesday June 29 - Invited Dress Rehearsal

5 PM – Cast – wardrobe, hair, make up call

6 PM – microphone check

7 PM- round up

7:30 PM – Curtain Up

Thursday June 30, Friday July 1, Saturday July 2 – Performances -

5 PM – Cast – wardrobe, hair, make up call

6 PM – microphone check

6:45 PM – everyone off stage – House Doors open

7 PM- round up

7:30 PM – Curtain Up

Sunday July 3 – Final Performance and Strike union call (fly, 2 board ops, post show 1-2 deckhands)

12 Noon – Cast – wardrobe, hair, make up call

1 PM – microphone check

1:45 PM – everyone off stage – House Doors open

2 PM- round up

2:30 PM – Curtain Up

After end of show (about 5:30pm) all cast call to strike!

After strike – let’s eat!

We will line post show parties after each performance.

Texas Roadhouse will be Friday or Saturday.
